There are Khmer software engineers and IT entrepreneurs working in the Silicon Valley. But there are NO Vietnamese astrophysicist, not even one is qualified to work on the LHC, Large Hadron Collider. I am sure there are some Khmer software engineers around but I have never met any yet. I have met many Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian engineers, never any Khmer yet.
I guess, for every one Khmer engineer in USA, there would be a thousand other Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian engineers. ALL Khmer student in my university could not make it through the third year. Most quit in the first year.
