I wonder if those pilots missed landing their planes at the Checker Board approach airport? Must been fun and challenging at the same time. No record of planes crashing into high rises that I know off.

Hong Kong was my first Asian trip back to Asia in 1991. I got the spirit of Asia then, I was depressed after I got back to the USA. Wow, in inland China .25 cents could buy you lunch then at small town food stand.

Thank you for sharing your memories of HK with us. Local dishes are usually good, but at least at the airport, cost a lot more than 25 cents these days!
