Why don't they know the effect of the psychological factor ?

Without the backup from the US, 10 Taliban fighters can overrun the whole Army of the Afghanistan government. The psychological factor always played a major role in any war.

Likewise, if the US withdrew the 28000 troops from South Korea, the North Korea will take over the South Korea in 3 months.

Self doubt is deadly.

It's another sign the American empire is going down.

After 20 years with $88 billion spent and more than 2000 of American deaths later, Afghanistan is back to the stone age.

To those of you khmers who think the Americans can save your ass from the Hun Sen regime, think again. First they won't come because Cambodia doesn't have enough oil and second, even if they came, they will abandon you later after they've taken all the wealth. Cambodia's problem must be dealt with by Cambodians, don't depend on foreigners.

I have an idea for the US:

In the future the US don't need to invade other Countries. The US should launch a "guerilla war" against them.
For example, after the 9/11, the US chose its time to strike the Taliban whenever the US wanted to. No US or allies troops on the ground. Bomb the Taliban until the Taliban crumbles and swear that they will never dare to do anything bad against the US.
