If the same things were said i.e., the need to apply and enforce immigration law - by any opposition figure, then the accusation of 'playing anti-this and anti-that' ethnic group card or even racism would be swift.
Khmer people know there are illegal settlers living and having been pouring
into the country for four decades, and these are not confined to the Tonle Sap
region alone.
The tragedy and political crisis being inflicted upon the people of Ukraine is a timely reminder and warning of how a smaller state is paying the price for its more powerful neighbour's aggrandisement and ambitions using ethnicity as a pretext and ground (literally!) to redraw borders and justify state-led aggressions and actions. That is assuming Cambodia's own recent tragic past lessons and errors are not instructive enough already?

Save Cambodia and kick them all out. Even thais are being dumped into Cambodia. The thais are importing chinese and dumping their thais into Cambodia. They let in 30 million chinese so they can say they are chinese while dumping thais into Cambodia. They want to be white first, now they want to be chinese. What a bunch of losers thais are. Cambodia needs to kick them back to thailand.
I read an article a few days ago where it said Cambodia deported more thais and chinese than the evil Yuon. 2899 thais, 266 chinese, compare to 194 evil Yuons. Why are there so many thais being dumped into Cambodia? Remember when these thais were shooting at Khmers at these borders? Now they are dumping thais in.
