Vietnam jailed two American citizens and 10 others from an outlawed US-based "terrorist" group for attempting to overthrow the state after they spread anti-government leaflets and tried to incite protests.
But two lawyers who were called to defend the accused told RFA they believe “Provisional National Government” followers were duped by promises that were never honored or tricked by Vietnamese security agents posing as members of the organization.
