Khmer Circle:
It was similair despotic acts and social injustices that paved the way to the Khmer Rouge's rise to power and contributed to the mass, indiscriminate killings of millions of innocents under that regime in the 1970s.
Holding peaceful strikes and protests are the legitimate rights and even
obligations of the citizens and thus forcefully or physically preventing workers
from exercising such rights are in themselves an unlawful response on the part
of the authorities and the clearest indisputable indication of the use of
unjustified violence.

What did the West and the European countries do when the Khmer Rouge came to power in Cambodia and subsequently killed millions of its own citizens? Nothing.
Now, the West and the EU are not only willing accepting all the refugees from Ukraine with open arms but accepting their dogs and cats as well.
