Most of RFA coverage areas 'not free'

 

In its annual report analyzing the state of democratic values and open expression around the world, Freedom House ranked most of RFA’s coverage areas as “not free” – demonstrating the extent to which authoritarian regimes go to suppress opposition. 

 

Taiwan is the only country that ranked as “free,” while data on China’s Xinjiang province was largely unavailable.
