ពេលខ្ញុំសាងភ្នួស ក្នុងឆ្នាំ ២០០១ 
ពេលនោះ ព្រះសង្ឃនិមន្តជួរមុខ ចង់មានសង្ឃដីកាថា ៖ "អាត្មា សូមបិណ្ឌបាត ឲ្យខ្មែរចេះស្រលាញ់ខ្មែរ ហើយឲ្យថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំប្រទេស មានព្រហ្មវិហារធម៌ គឺមិនបំផ្លាញជាតិដោយសារអំពើពុករលួយ និងមិនធ្វើបាបរាស្ត្រដោយសារចង់ក្រាញអំណាចមួយជីវិត"។

In line with Buddhist principles, I urge all Cambodians to respect each other, and our leaders to hold to high standards of moral conduct, not to destroy their country with corruption and not to oppress their people because of their desire to stay in power all their lives.
