Vietnam aids Cambodia’s broadcasting sector

Khmer Circle: Ah... this kind of 'aid' certainly has a long history, and much of it is self-induced and entirely voluntary on the part of the aid givers! Just ask any Khmer Rouge remnants currently occupying positions inside the Phnom Penh regime how they first began their political career ...

Hanoi (VNA) – Cambodia’s Ministry of Information held a ceremony in Phnom Penh on October 27 to receive six radio transmitters granted by the Vietnamese Government to local radio and television stations.

At the handover ceremony, Cambodian Minister of Information Khieu Kanharith thanked the Vietnamese Government for assisting the country’s media sector, particularly in providing experts and equipment.

In 2015, also through Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), the Vietnamese Government donated 15 radio transmitters to Cambodia to help local authorities spread the Cambodian Government’s policies and laws among residents.

This year, Vietnam is assisting Cambodia in installing equipment for four radio and two television stations in six provinces. VOV technicians are working to complete the project before the end of the year.

The assistance is part of an agreement of the Vietnam-Cambodia Joint Committee for economic, cultural, and scientific and technological cooperation.-VNA

Cambodia does not want any aid from any countries. They all were bad and try to screw Cambodia one way or another. Just get rid of all foreign powers, all investments and stay neutral.
