When faced with impending EU and US sanctions this broadcasting permit issued to a man who is on the Hun Sen regime’s payroll and is thus effectively its stooge seems like a major step taken towards reform the rest of the world wants to see? What’s next? Inviting RFA to reopen its office in the capital but under new management?
The Vietcongs have long learned how easily the Americans can be fooled ever since the Vietnam war era and so today they view westerners and their governments in much the same veins!
