Cambodians have suffered so much because of their leaders who was/is uneducated, corrupted, untrust worthy, power hungry, unpatriotic and above all, not very intelligent. Neighboring countries such as Thailand and Vietnam can take advantage of Cambodia precisely because of that.
When those Khmer leaders were smiling with the evil Ho Mi Minh, they will never be able to back out from Ho Chi Minh's magic tricks. That's why millions of Khmer people died during the Khmer Rouge era. They simply executed Vietnam's plan to obliterate Khmer race to pave the space for the devil Vietnamese to fill Khmer land.
