Khmer Circle: 

Any genuine non-ruling political party seeking social/political change is in essence a "new generation" group or movement. The only non-new generation party would be none other than the long-ruling neo-Communist CPP that has excluded all other participations and involvements from any other segments of society, political and civil across decades and generations regardless. 

The 'new generation' of the electorate will in due time become part of the older generation too without being given any voice or power over how their lives are governed whilst the emergence of new opposition parties and groups - even genuine ones - helps to facilitate and prolong the existing one-party status quo by splitting and fragmenting the democratic camp into insignificant disparate and thus manageable components.
