ONLY A FREE AND FAIR ELECTION CAN SAVE CAMBODIA AND STOP VIETNAM’S INFLUENCE OVER CAMBODIA
To strengthen Khmer solidarity, Hun Sen must first abandon his stupid ambition of keeping the power for his son, his grandson, and his Hun family.
Notice that a big part of Cambodia’s current problems stemmed from Hun Sen’s incessant thirsty for power.
Next, Hun Sen must release all political prisoners and let them participate freely in this next election. Hun Sen needs to reinstate the CNRP party and establish a free and fair election. The loser transfers peacefully the power to the winner. This social justice from free and fair election will spontaneously consolidate Khmer solidarity and empower Khmer people to bravely face any foreign aggression.
Only changing the leader through the general election that will secure Cambodia a lasting peace. Changing the leader through the people’s revolution would open the door for the expansionist Vietnam to remotely intervene and put a new puppet to serve Vietnam again.
However, when push comes to shove, if Hun Sen refuses to adopt a FREE and FAIR ELECTION, Khmer people will have no choice but to rise up to remove him. It is time for Hun Sen to go if he continues depriving Khmer people’s right to vote. Coward people don’t deserve to have a country. Khmer people have to wake up to face Hun Sen, forcing him to respect the constitution.
Khmer youth should learn from the mistake in Veng Sreng’s brutal crackdown. Hun Sen deployed the killing of Khmer garment workers on Veng Sreng Street in January 2014 after he came back from Vietnam. This proved that Hun Sen’s actions were dictated by Vietnam. For the next peaceful demonstration to get a free and fair election, Khmer people must have unwavering determination and ready to sacrifice their lives when Hun Sen brutally suppresses them. Their ultimate sacrifice will be engraved in Khmer history and in Khmer people’s mind forever as Khmer national heroes who saved Cambodia from extinction.
Just remember that presently Cambodia is under the process of the Vietnamization of Cambodia, implementing by Vietnam and executing by Hun Sen.
Finally, the NEW elected government will be able to invoke the 1991 Paris Peace Accord to solve any aggression from Thailand and Vietnam.
