Khmer Circle note:
The image and accompanying text below appear on Kem Sokha's Facebook page
lately and is reproduced here unaltered to show readers the below par quality
of written English used. We are not sure as to Mr Kem's command of the English
language, but it seems many Cambodians [including politicians] would rather opt
to post their thoughts and messages on social media in such badly translated English
[Google Translate?] as to spoil the intentions of the person who may try to
communicate these thoughts to their compatriots; many of whom - just like them
- are probably better off writing or reading in their native Khmer in which
they are more proficient? Whether such politicians or other activists are too
busy to tend to their FB chores and delegate their official social media page
to someone else, or hope to reach out to a wider Khmer and non-Khmer speaking
audience, it would be advisable to consider whether the actual written quality
itself warrants its use so as not to defeat the object of the exercise in the
first place: so to speak.
A poorly written text or message [and many posted online in English have
often been so poor as to render the message itself unintelligible] -
especially, regarding important public matters - undermines the credibility of
the person who writes it whilst reflecting negatively upon the dignity of the
author as well as that of the subject matter in question.
There is no shame in making errors and learning from them, but make them
within their appropriate circumstances and contexts.

I don't know who wrote that message of condolence in English.
If that message was written by Kem Sokha, he must quit from his CNRP's President post because it was so dumb and unbearable to read.
However, I don't believe that it was written by Kem Sokha since he has a daughter named Kem MonoShittia who knew English very well.
Who has died? Hun Sen's wife or the monk or both?
4:31am
It was Mi Kanhchrouk Bun Rany's mother who died.
If khem sokha for some reason has time and is obliged to send the condolence to the death of mother in the law of the Khmer dictator hun sen for sharing his sadness to the family, he should send a condolence to every Khmer family whose loved one pass away every day.
For Mr Khem's family, whatever you do don't betray Khmer people behind their back and you will be condemned to an eternity.
