Khmer Circle:
Just what exactly is this "London Reefs" doing in the SCS, of all places in the world?
Come to think of it, just why in the world is a country in the region called "The Philippines"?
This insular European colonial mindset is partly what is fuelling China's aggression of late.
But, the Asians – or Southeast Asians - themselves are willing victims and accomplishes of this mindset of slavishly pandering to its norms and tastes, particularly, the ruling elites, and since they take the lead, the rest tend to follow.
‘Singapore’ [an overcrowded city state] is a perfect encapsulation of that slavish imitation and, just as it has taken the lead in aping the Western model, other national elites blindly follow even if it means dismantling beautiful mountains and filling beautiful historical lakes for their nightmare visions of ‘development’ to materialise.
Even this “beautiful reefs” won’t be there much longer…give it time.

Beautiful, isn't it?

Yeah, I hate all of them too. I only care about Cambodia. Unless Khmers do something, it is pointless to keep complaining. They are not going to help, they only care about themselves.
