Arms broker with ties to Belarus and Russia, has been supplying arms to Myanmar’s military

Dynasty International, an arms broker with ties to Belarus and Russia, has been supplying arms to Myanmar’s military since it seized power in a Feb. 1, 2021 coup. In March 2021, Dynasty imported parts for Mi-17 helicopters, used primarily for military transport, from Yekaterinburg in Russia, according to data reviewed by the NGO Justice for Myanmar.

Dynasty International is reportedly headed by Aung Moe Myint, the son of an official in a previous military government in Myanmar, and also an honorary consul of Belarus in Myanmar. Belarus itself also delivered to Myanmar two Kvadrat-M SAM missile systems in 2016, 100 3M9 surface-to-air missiles in 2015-16, and two Mi24/Mi-35 combat helicopters in 2019, Justice for Myanmar found.
