I go "green" living in the wild. A momma bear made her den about 200 feet from my abode raising two cubs this Spring. A day ago I saw them for the first time near to where the den is. I did not realize there was a bear den near to my abode until next door neighbor pointed this out to me with pictures of bear and cubs.
One Summer long ago about a dozen bears use my yard for a Beer party. I had my gun ready just incase they wanted to raid my refrigerator for more beer when they are so drunk not knowing what mischief they could get themselves into.
Also got skunks around for diversity. I don't care for their smelly perfume they excrete when threaten by a predator. So far a limited amount had been sprayed as a warning signal to back off by would be predator. The smell would linger for about two hours.
There's deer, rabbits and squirrels, who needs video games to keep one entertain when friendly critters are all around me?
